SIA-licensed event security & stewarding
Event security
SIA-licensed stewards and door supervisors who keep your event safe — managing access and ticket checks, crowd flow and incidents from the gate to the main stage. From small gatherings to large concerts, sports fixtures, conferences and festivals across the UK, planned around your venue.
What we provide
Stewards and guards for every event
Event security covers the people and procedures that keep an event running safely — from the moment guests arrive at the gate to the final clear-up. Our teams control access, check tickets and credentials, manage crowd flow inside and around the venue, and respond to incidents quickly and calmly.
Where licensable activity is involved, our staff hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence, and every steward is screened to the BS 7858:2019 standard through the Tech Guarding Hub before deployment. We scale to suit the event, working from small private gatherings right up to large concerts, sports fixtures, conferences and festivals.
- Access control, ticket and credential checks at every entrance
- Crowd management and flow inside and around the venue
- SIA-licensed door supervision where required
- Search policy, bag checks and prohibited-item screening
- Rapid, proportionate response to incidents and disorder
- Small gatherings to large concerts, sports, conferences and festivals
Planned, not improvised
Planned around your event
Good event security starts long before the doors open. We plan the deployment with you and your venue, so every entrance, route and risk is accounted for on the day.
Security planning with organisers
We work with organisers, venues and safety advisory groups on the security and stewarding plan — capacity, search policy, egress and escalation — before the event.
Access & ticket control
Stewards staff every entrance to check tickets and credentials, manage queues and screen for prohibited items, keeping admission orderly and secure.
Crowd safety
Teams monitor crowd density and flow, keep emergency routes clear and act early to prevent crushing, blockages or bottlenecks from forming.
Incident response
Trained stewards and door supervisors respond to medical issues, ejections and disorder quickly and proportionately, coordinating with venue and emergency services.
Accountable on the day
Coordinated and logged in real time
On event day, stewards are coordinated through the TechGuard app — shifts are clocked in and positions confirmed, while incidents, ejections and welfare are logged with time-stamped, location-stamped detail. Organisers and our control room share the same live picture, so the response is evidenced rather than assumed and you have a clear record after the event.
Event security FAQs
What size events do you cover?
We scale from small private gatherings and corporate functions through to large concerts, sports fixtures, conferences and festivals. The number of stewards, door supervisors and supervisors is set by your venue capacity, layout and risk profile.
Are your event staff SIA licensed (door supervision)?
Yes. Where door supervision is required, staff hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence, and all personnel are screened to the BS 7858:2019 standard through our Hub platform before deployment.
Can you help with our event security plan?
Yes. We work with event organisers, venues and safety advisory groups on the security and stewarding plan — covering access points, search policy, crowd flow, capacity, emergency egress and incident escalation — before the day.
Do you provide traffic marshals for event parking?
Yes. We provide trained traffic marshals to manage event parking, vehicle access and pedestrian segregation around the venue. See our traffic marshals service for details.
