The app

What TechGuard does

TechGuard is the mobile half of our platform. Officers carry it on shift to clock in, follow patrol routes, log incidents and raise the alarm; everything they do is recorded against their name, time and location. It is offline-first, so a poor signal never stops the job — actions queue on the device and sync the moment the connection returns.

In the field

Built for officers in the field

Every feature is designed for one-handed use on a busy shift, in the dark or on the move. TechGuard is built with lone-worker and keyholding best practice (BS 8484 and BS 7984) in mind.

Shift clock-in & clock-out

Officers clock on and off in a tap, building a full attendance record you can export to CSV for payroll, invoicing or audit.

Hold-to-trigger panic alarm

A deliberate hold sends the officer's GPS location to the control room, with live acknowledgement and escalation status as it is handled by our Alarm Receiving Centre.

Lone-worker welfare checks

Automated welfare prompts confirm a lone worker is safe at set intervals; a missed check escalates automatically so no one is left unaccounted for.

Structured incident reporting

Categorised reports with photo and video evidence, draft autosave so nothing is lost mid-report, and a clear status workflow from open to resolved.

Patrol checkpoints, QR & GPS

Patrol assignments verified at each checkpoint by QR scan and GPS geofencing, proving the route was walked. Works offline and syncs when back in coverage.

Stamped photo & video evidence

Every photo and video is stamped with the officer's name, SIA licence number, timestamp and GPS location, so evidence stands up to scrutiny.

Offline-first sync

Built for sites with patchy signal: clock-ins, patrols, welfare checks and reports queue on the device and auto-sync the moment connectivity returns.

Security & app lock

Device and session management lets us revoke a lost device instantly. Push notifications keep officers informed, with an optional biometric or passcode app lock.
